I listened to Tony before, but each time I see a video and listen to his songs it makes me think of all the "giving up" we do in our lives. Take a look at this video, next time you are about to give up on something thinking it is to hard, think of this video and think twice before you give up. GOD BLESS Tony, our Holy Pope and us all. Ash Wednesday (2008)

Today is the first day of lent; it means there is forty days lent ahead of us or forty days before Easter. Ash Wednesday, we need to "Turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel." Genesis 3:19. The lent started; I hope you all decided what your sacrifices will be as an offering to Him and His passion for all of us.

As the year before, I will try to climb the mountain in my backyard, the Cross mountain, for all of you, your intentions and your petitions as many time as I can. I climbed it over 30 times for lent last year and I hope to do better this year.
Also, remember that the Stations of the Cross section is still present on our website and you can join with me in praying the Way of the Cross. Click HERE.

Remember, O man, that you are dust, and unto dust you shall return. (Latin: Memento homo, quia pulvis es, et in pulverem reverteris.)

Our Lady's message to the visionary given through Mirjana Feb. 02. 2008.

Dear children,
I am with you. As a mother, I am gathering you, because I desire to erase from your hearts what I see now. Accept the love of my Son and  erase fear, pain, suffering and disappointment from your heart. I have chosen you in a special way to be a light of the love of my Son. Thank you.

Prayer to the Mother of Jesus

O Holy Virgin, I beg you, enable me to receive Jesus from the Spirit,
according to the same process by which you bore Him.
May my soul possess Jesus thanks to the Spirit
through whom you conceived Jesus.
May the grace to know Jesus
be granted to me through the Spirit
who enabled you to know,
To have and to bring forth Jesus.
May my lowliness show forth the greatness of Jesus
in virtue of the Spirit
in whom you recognized yourself
to be the servant of the Lord,
choosing that it be done unto you
according to the angel's word.
May I love Jesus in that Spirit
in which you adored Him as your Lord
and contemplated Him as your Son.
May I have holy fear of Jesus, just as He,
being God, submitted Himself to his parents.

Amen.

Menus moved to the bottom of the page? ERROR
FIXED, Thanks to GOD. It was put to my attention that the main page is not loading correctly on some browsers, not sure why is this happening. The MENUs on each side, the main one on the left as well as the menu and the items on the right move to the bottom of the page when using Internet Explorer ver. <6.2. I will try to correct this as soon as I can. You can also download FIREFOX browser for free from www.firefox.com and the page shows correct using this browser. I suggested this FIREFOX browser before, there are many reasons to use it over the Microsoft Internet Explorer, the security issue is brought down quite a bit compared to I.E. and it is highly customizable and it is not Microsoft...    :-)

Our Lady's message to the visionary Mirjana given through Mirjana Jan. 02. 2008.

Dear children!
With all the strength of my heart, I love you and give myself to you. As a mother fights for her children, I pray for you and fight for you. I ask you not to be afraid to open yourselves, so as to be able to love with the heart and give yourselves to others. The more that you do this with the heart, the more you will receive and the better you will understand my Son and His gift to you. May everyone recognize you through the love of my Son and through me. Thank you.

Our Lady blessed all those present and religious articles brought for blessing. She asked for prayer and fasting for our shepards.

Merry Christmas dear Medjugroje friends.

Dear friends, I can not say it better than Fr. Tomislav, I can only join him in his wishes.

Dear Friends in Christ and Our Lady!On the occasion of our great Feast-Day - the Birth of our Lord Jesus Christ - I would like to express to all the friends of mine and Medjugorje my deepest prayers, gratefulness for the grace to be united with Medjugorje - the heavenly sign in our times,  where the People of God is being re-born through prayer, conversion, intimate love to Jesus and Mary!

I wish you deep inner peace and joy!

God became man for our sake. On of us in order that we may share His trinitarian life and love. This is the true wonder of this Great Day.

May the Child Jesus find in your heart His place, may he find enough humility and poverty, that he may fill our hearts with His divine bounty. May we all become the manger for Jesus!

With my love and prayers

Maestro Andrea Bocelli Dear friends, Christmas Eve is here, it is a day of great joy and on this day I can share wonderful news with all of you. Maestro Andrea Bocelli is visiting Medjugorje for the Youth Fest 2008. This is a great gift for Christmas and I can only say that I am overwhelmed. He will have a concert behind the Church of St. James August 3rd, 2008. This is a concert is a present for all of the participants of the youth festival, young and old from our dear Franciscan brothers of Medjugorje. There is not much I can add except say THANK YOU.

This news was given to me exclusively for medjugorje.net by the Franciscans of Medjugorje.

Christmas concert at St. James Church

Christmas concert. Children of the little choir from Dubrovnik and the "Singing Doves" little choir from Medjugorje prepared a singing program, a concert by the full meaning of the word.  They sang most of the well known Christmas songs like," Little Drummer Boy", White Christmas, Blessed Christmas, Little Baby Jesus, etc. the program was on for about an hour and a half. I must add that Sr. Slavica, a Franciscan nun who runs both the little and the big choir of Medjugorje did a splendid job getting this choir to this level. It was just amazing listening to them today. I was overwhelmed. Anyhow, here is a photo I took from the organ loft area to show you a bit of today’s atmosphere.

Our Lady's message to the visionary Mirjana given through Mirjana Dec. 02. 2007.

Our Lady was very sad. Her eyes were filled with tears through out the whole time.

Our Lady. Dear children,
Today, while I am looking at your hearts, my heart is filled with pain and shudder. My children, stop for a moment and look into your hearts. Is my Son – your God truly in the first place? Are His commandments truly the measure of your life? I am warning you again. Without faith there is no God’s nearness. God’s word which is the light of salvation and the light of common sense.

Mirjana added:
I asked Our Lady painfully not to leave us and not to give up on us. Our Lady painfully smiled to my request and left. This time she did not finish her message with the words “Thank you”.
Our Lady blessed all of us and all religious articles we had with us.

MARIAN CONSECRATION

I, (name), a faithless sinner, renew and ratify today in your hands, O Immaculate Mother, the vows of my Baptism; I renounce forever Satan, his pomps and works; and I give myself entirely to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life, and to be more faithful to Him than I have ever been before.

In the presence of all the heavenly court, I choose you this day for my Mother and Queen. I deliver and consecrate to you, as your slave, my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, and even the value of all my good actions, past, present, and future; leaving to you the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me, without exception, according to your good pleasure, for the greater glory of God, in time and eternity. Amen.
