Dear children,
I come to you as a Mother with
gifts. I come with love and mercy. Dear children, mine is a big heart. In it, I
desire all of your hearts, purified by fasting and prayer. I desire that,
through love, our hearts may triumph together. I desire that through that
triumph you may see the real Truth, the real Way and the real Life. I desire
that you may see my Son. Thank you.
Our Lady blessed all of us and
all religious articles. Again She emphasized that it is only Her Motherly
blessing and She asked for daily prayers for those whom She said «my Son has
chosen and blessed». Mirjana clarified that she thought Our Lady was referring
to priests.

"The Most Effective Response to Evil"
VATICAN CITY, MARCH 11, 2007 -
Here is a translation of the address Benedict XVI delivered today
before reciting the midday Angelus with several thousand people
gathered in St. Peter's Square.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The passage of Luke's Gospel proclaimed on this Third Sunday of
Lent refers to Jesus' comments on two current events of that time. The
first was the uprising of some Galileans, which was suppressed by
Pilate with the shedding of blood; the second was the collapse of a
tower in Jerusalem, which caused the death of 18 victims. They were two
tragic, yet very different, events. The first was caused by man, the
other was accidental.

"They Shall Look on Him Whom They Have Pierced"
VATICAN CITY, FEB. 13, 2007. - Here is Benedict XVI's message for Lent 2007. It was issued today by the Vatican press office. Dear Brothers and Sisters! "They shall look on Him whom they have pierced" (Jn 19:37). This is the biblical theme that this year guides our Lenten reflection. Lent is a favourable time to learn to stay with Mary and John, the beloved disciple, close to Him who on the Cross, consummated for all mankind the sacrifice of His life (cf. Jn 19:25). With a more fervent participation let us direct our gaze, therefore, in this time of penance and prayer, at Christ crucified who, dying on Calvary, revealed fully for us the love of God. In the Encyclical Deus caritas est, I dwelt upon this theme of love, highlighting its two fundamental forms: agape and eros.
