THE WAY OF THE CROSS
|
While the Apostles sleep, You pray in solitude, alone and abandoned. Judas prepares Your betrayal. You are sorrowful onto death. You perspire blood and ask the Father to take this cup from You. Forgive me, Jesus, for often being spiritually half-hearted and idle. Have mercy on all those who suffer and who are now in danger. Have mercy on all those who are now in a struggle for survival or death and send them Your holy angel of consolation. Grant me, O Lord, the grace that I may follow You on this Way of the Cross, as Mary, Your faithful Mother did. Our Father... Hail Mary... Glory Be... Have mercy on us, O Lord!
