Jesus, You are taken down from the cross and placed in the embrace of Your mother. We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You, because by Your holy cross You have redeemed the world. Mary, thank You for Your faithfulness to Jesus, even in His suffering. Your heart is not overcome by hatred or hopelessness. Your tears of sorrow do not flow out of bitterness or anger, but out of love. I now consecrate myself to You, O Blessed Virgin. I accept You as my mother, please accept me as Your child. Thank You for saying in Your message that You wish to embrace me. Our Father... Hail Mary... Glory Be... Have mercy on us, O Lord! |
