Dear friends in Medjugorje,
I wanted to share this with you because you've given a powerful lesson to many people in Casper, Wyoming.  I gave your story on the cross for lent to a dear friend who I believe is a suffering soul.  she has been in the hospital for over a month and yet she suffers in joy.  She LOVED the photo essay and showed it to her nurse.  Her nurse LOVED the essay and showed it to someone else, who copied it and shared it and it goes on and on.  Your story was circulated throughout the Wyoming Medical Center and it has helped many people deal with their crosses.  It has given hope where there is little hope.  God Bless you abundantly this holy season of lent.

Immaculate Conception, Mary, my Mother.

Live in me. Act in me. Speak in and through me.

Think your thoughts in my mind. Love, through my heart.

Give me your dispositions and feelings.

Teach, lead and guide me to Jesus.

Correct, enlighten and expand my thoughts and behavior.

Possess my soul. Take over my entire personality and life.

Replace it with yourself.

Incline me to constant adoration and thanksgiving.

Pray in me and through me.

Let me live in you and keep me in this union always.
-  Pope John Paul II

I, (name), a faithless sinner, renew and ratify today in your hands, O Immaculate Mother, the vows of my Baptism; I renounce forever Satan, his pomps and works; and I give myself entirely to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life, and to be more faithful to Him than I have ever been before.
In the presence of all the heavenly court, I choose you this day for my Mother and Queen. I deliver and consecrate to you, as your slave, my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, and even the value of all my good actions, past, present, and future; leaving to you the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me, without exception, according to your good pleasure, for the greater glory of God, in time and eternity. Amen.
-  St. Louis Marie de Montfort
