Dear friends of Medjugorje,
Some of you know and some are new to this but there is an annual retreat for priests organized here in Medjugorje. The local priests do their best to prepare the program with different lectures an services and a good proof that they are doing this good is the fast that the number of priests attending is constantly going up. As far as I remember there were over 700 priests for that week of July 2008.

We, as the parishioners are asked to sign up if we want to accept host a few priests with in our
guest homes or our private homes and my family has been signing up for
the past years. We had met some great priests from around the world
(Ukraine, USA, Italy, Poland...). This was and is a great opportunity
for us to give back what our Lord has given us, the grace to be born
and to be living in this place that Our Lady has chosen to appear in.
So, this year my family has decided to post this little note, we would
like to invite all of the priests, up to 20 to come and stay with my
family free of charge. We will provide the food and drinks and
everything else you might need while in Medjugorje and the parish
priests will take care of the spiritual side .-)
As you all know, the priests still need to finance
their trip over to Medjugorje (air ticket, train ticket, boat ticket…)
and that costs. I want to take this opportunity to ask you dear
Medjugorje friend to think about sponsoring the cost or at least part
of this cost for your parish priest or your priest friend. They do so
much for us, let’s do something for them! Thank you.
